Donating in Covid-19
We have all come to learn that our elderly and medically vulnerable neighbors are disproportionately affected by Covid-19. RDNA nursing services are essential for these residents, and especially for their well-being during this time. We do not receive Medicare/Mainecare or insurance reimbursements, and focus on stepping in when these benefits run out or needed services are not covered. RDNA is, therefore, not eligible for the federal and state health care funding that is headed to providers.
Our services have continued through the pandemic because of community support, and are the definition of “flattening the curve.” While the community opens up and we all learn to live with this new reality, it is critical that these nursing services remain available, accessible and affordable.
Thank you for your commitment to community nursing!
