Strong local support keeps RDNA nurses visiting.
Community nursing is in RDNA
District nursing is alive and well in midcoast Maine ~ helping neighbors stay safely at home, engaged in our community and out of the hospital and nursing home. As one of only three remaining agencies in the State of Maine, RDNA understands that our community’s health depends on the well-being of the most vulnerable among us.
RDNA receives no Medicare, MaineCare or insurance reimbursements. Community donations are the largest source of operating income.
District nursing is a century-old calling. Whether a nurse, community leader, local baker, resident in need of services, we each are vital to keeping RDNA available, accessible and affordable ~ now and for the next generation.
