District nursing is alive and strong in midcoast Maine ~ helping vulnerable neighbors stay safely at home, part of our community and out of the hospital and nursing home. Today we are one of only three remaining agencies in the State of Maine. After so many years, we remain successful and responsive because we are truly rooted in and supported by the community.

RDNA understands that our community’s health depends on the well-being of the most vulnerable among us. We stand strong because of you ~ our families, friends, health care and EMS colleagues, and especially our clients.

RDNA thanks all who help keep our nurses safely visiting.

For 95 years…

RDNA has provided non-acute, in-home nursing and community health services to residents of Rockland, Maine and surrounding midcoast communities.  As part of the Rockland area health and safety infrastructure, RDNA reaches neighbors otherwise without access to this nursing care.  This small, independent agency is built on the vision of serving each other today to ensure a healthier community for tomorrow.

RDNA is a 501(c )(3) organization.  Donations are the largest source of operational income, keeping fees affordable and services accessible.  RDNA receives no Medicare, MaineCare, or insurance reimbursements.
